I received these 14 ft whips and hardware quick enough. Came in 2 packages two days apart. My intention is to install these whips to the 2x4 pumpers on my 32 ft floating dock for my 22 ft pontoon boat. When I saw the rugged and substantial hardware, I could see that they are intended for those big pylon fixed telephone pole posts with 3" slats. Quick call to the helpful manufacturer and I was assured that many customers install these whips as I intended. He shared an installation tip that will be helpful.
