Just got my Native Chief and am very impressed at how precisely made this knife is and the materials used. I haven't measured the knife but to me critical eye everything is perfectly aligned and fits exactly as it should. The guys in my office have been buying knives lately and are quickly starting to appreciate higher quality knives, made with premium materials that are built to perform. This knife will not disappoint any of them and should perform like the Spyderco reputation is known for. While constructed of tough materials (S30V blade and G10 scales) his is not a survival knife for striking a ferro rod or batoning through fire wood. It is for cutting materials, rope, or meat, but should shave kindling easily off a piece of wood - I can't wait to try it skinning wild game. You will not be disappointed if you buy this knife.
