Just got it seams to work, the finest grinde seams to be fine enough for espresso not sure if it is fine enough for Turkish (haven't made enough Turkish coffe to know for shure). we do alot of cold brew and French press so this should work well for that.This doesn't have a auto off so you can't set how much you want ground and walk away.I do love how cute it is, the numbers for telling you what grind you are getting is a sticker and ours came with obvious bubbles, the shiny strips on the fron and back of the motor casing is also a sticker.Motor casing is metal but base is plastic. Over all as long as it keeps grinding think it was worth $80EditIf you let it fill the grounds container more than 1/4 of the way full coffee grounds start going all over the place, and statick cling is pretty badMy old coffee grinder had the motor below the burrs (like many others on Amazon, etc.) The problem this design is that eventually the seals wear out and ground coffee fills up the motor, etc. I wanted a coffee grinder where the ground can NOT fall into the motor, which makes this style about the only type that can't have that problem.There are also no 'safety' switches to fail and no timer, etc. Just an on/off switch.The easiest way I've found to grind just the right amount is to measure out exactly the amount of the beans you need and just grind everything in the hopper. It's quiet, it's fast and the ground coffee is reasonably uniform in size.This also includes a little inner flask/filter/colander. Supposedly this is to seperate out the extremely tiny grounds. The holes in it are so tiny I didn't notice them at first and the minuscule amount of powder that falls through seems hardly worth filtering out. But it's there.FWIW it uses 60mm hardened steel burrs, the type that are held on with two screws, not three. We only drink 1-2 pots of cofee a day, so I figure the included burrs should last us 10-15 yearsOver all I'm very pleased with this grinder. Even the color is starting to grow on me.Note: When I bought this, it had one of the cheapest prices for this style. Since then the price has increased by 500%. Inflation sucks.Now I know what you thinking, why green? Because it is a very happy fun item to have. Does it work? no idea. But gosh dangit it's pretty.
