Holds up ok and takes down welds pretty good on stainless. Not as good as cgw or pferd but still these were worth the price. Better than 3m all dayLike seriously, F***! Give these a try if you are tired of just burning thru your roll lock disks, these last incredibly long without losing their grit. Will definitely look for the purple disks from now on.You can't go wrong. It's a Great value for so many sanding discs. Our local Auto parts store wanted $3 per disc or they do not have any in stock. My Husband uses these for rusted metal, body work and grinding down welds. I recommend these sanding discs and will purchase them again!Had a nice variety to choose from. Good buy for the money.Amazing on stainless steel.Good product for the moneyThis is a great 80 Piece disc set of Roloc type 2 inch diameter sanding discs that use Aluminum Oxide (AlOx), Zirconia Oxide (ZircOx), and Ceramic as abrasive as well Silicon Carbide in the mesh discs. There are F/M/C varieties of 2" Roloc Nylon Mesh Abrasive Discs for surface prep/stripping along with Extra Coarse "Strip It" Black Mesh Disc. There is a LOT in this set, even a single compressed wool polish wheel. That makes these useful to me on just about any surface because these use tough abrasives, harder and more durable than loose bond Aluminum Oxide- this set gives me a huge set of choices of abrasive and Grit. All are well bonded to the Roloc backed discs. The Mesh wheels will strip paint and prep most metal surfaces.These use a Roloc type spin on quick change firm rubber mandrel that is included. I appreciate the 2 mandrel shafts so I have a choice of either using a standard 1/4 inch hex drive or a round 1/4 inch mandrel shaft. If I was going to pick only one to use exclusively I would put a drop of Lock Tite type thread sealant when I assemble the mandrel.These are a great value of 2" Roloc discs. I found these really last and are easy to change out with the Roloc system.Eye and Face Shield protection is a must!
