It's on my kitchen counter, looks great, and so far works great. I read all the instructions before use and followed them. Make sure to follow the cleansing process - run just purified water thru the machine, they tell you to do it twice. Fill the water reservoir to just under the 10-cup mark and make sure the grinder button is off.The machine is smart. The grinder will run until it has ground enough beans for the number of cups you set the machine for, as well as the coarseness of the grind. The booklet suggests using a coarse setting for the first time, then adjust to your liking. I use the carafe to measure the cups of water so that I know I'm adding the right amount based on the machine's coffee settings. Easy 'Open' button is on the right side of the machine, and the basket is easy to remove and wash. It has all the features you need and you can also use ground coffee, (just press the 'Grinder Off' button.). Personally, I read all the reviews and it the price was at $149 instead of $179, so I invested. I'm very pleased with it so far and highly recommend.High quality. Very well designed. *Quiet* machine!! The maker of this machine has a YouTube video showing how to use this - it is a bit of a learning curve, so the video was helpful. He’s a soft spoken Italian man who put some serious thought into making a good quality grind-and-brew machine. Impressed and still in love with this machine after two months of using this. You won’t regret this purchase.Product instructions that illustrate the directions would be a great asset, but were not includedI bought my first one and really enjoyed the coffee it made. Then for whatever reason the coffee basket would not latch and stay closed. I began my research once again for a coffee maker with a burr grinder. Everything lead me right back here. Now I have my old one for parts if need be or I may dig a little deeper when I have time and see if I can repair the first one.Exactly what I wanted. Only 4 stars, it is loud.Beyond that absolutely as described. Love this machinePretty cool unit - everything worked okay except for the bean feeder. You have to shake it sometimes to get the beans to feed into the burr grinder, which kind of made the auto feature useless.The other problem we had is we like extra strong coffee (almost takes double the beans what this unit is programmed for). So we would have to select 8 cups and only fill with 4 cups of water. Would've been okay but we brew 10 up pots and there is no 20 cup option for the grinder.This makes great coffee and unlike other options, does not waist the beans.Makes great coffee! This is my first grind and brew and I love it! The only issue I have is the measurements are way off. 2 cups is not 2 cups. Especially of you have a bigger cup. I make 4 cups and it's barely 2. Other than that, I love it!
