OK opted for a set of these to see how they'd do compared to various flap discs and what have u to remove 'light' rust n' polish sheet metal - smooth concrete - polish up some ceramic n' porcelain tile - and - smooth out some various types of wood flaws. First time user of this type n' opted for the 120/180's ove finer discs.First the set of 4 arrived in decent time n' just seal packed together. The 7/8th's center arbor fit right up to both my angle dangle grinders without issue - ones a hi speed others a very hi speed. Givin' there makeup I'd definitely never use em at eithers machines full throttle. Decided under 5k rpm - even half that should suffice. Results were impressive on every type tried upon - the low speed was the key - kept the discs from loading up n' avoiding any damage since early on I did notice if a tad more trigger was applied - some minimal wear n' tear prevailed. Worked great side by side compared to some flappers on slightly rusted metal and everything else previously listed. Thou I did smack an edge n gotta a quite extensive tear thou it didnt render the disc useless - so being careful had to b moved up a notch. Really polished up the porcelain probably due to it being a harder surface than the softer ceramic thou with lighter pressure n' less speed the ceramics came out very nice. I had an inkling to apply a tad of compound to one of the 180's n' funny I noticed a reviewer did just that so what the hay giver a try - yep again the key - worked very well at a slower than rest of tests speed - anything results better than just the use of the hand. I tend to like these a tad better than wire discs n the flap discs thou it all depends on the project being tackled n' what the goal is in the end. I do tend to like the 180's a tad better thou the 120's may last a while longer with the added segmented flappin' thou might b the other way around - we shall see what we shall see. These r decent - workmanships not half bad - so the values there especially in biden times - 4 for like 10bidenbux isnt a bad deal at all especially since they'll always come in quite handy. Glad to have given em a try n' will no doubt get some more in the future.
