Description

The Tenryu PT-23040 is a 9 40T Miter Table Saw Blade. This blade is fully hardened, expertly tensioned tool steel body absorb impact, remain flat and true and resist excess heat build-up. High-grade C-3 fine-grain tungsten carbide tips resist erosion for extended blade life. It has aggressive rake angles for maximum cutting speed and efficiency. Each tip is precision honed on all four exposed surfaces. This minimizes micro-chipping along the sharp edge of the blade and results in a sharper, longer-lasting edge. Thin kerf for less waste and lighter cutting performance (reduced feed pressure). Its inserted tooth design greatly increases the body-to-tip braze area for greater support and tip strength.

Features

ATAF (Alternate Top Alternate Face) Extra sharp cutting tips reduce load on saw. Face beveling diverts cutting load left and right, instead of straight on. Creates a better shearing action - especially in cross-grains, natural wood.

My bad, I purchased this blade 7 months ago for my 9 inch Delta table saw as an upgrade to the cheap Dewalt blade I was running. I recently installed it and when I cranked it on there was a noticeable noise. So, I reinstalled it and retightened the arbor nut etc. I tried using it to rip a 1-inch-thick white pine board, it cut fine but left significant teeth marks. So, I dug out my instruments and the blade is clearly warped! It has a wobble or run out of over .004 inches. I am well past the return date. I am very disappointed in the quality of this blade. I strongly suggest you not purchase it, or if you do, check it for run out as soon as possible.
